Job summary

The Structures Company, a national aerospace staffing agency, seeks an Avionic Technician for a 12-month contract in Greenville, SC. You will wire, route and terminate aircraft electrical systems and conduct functional checks on avionics.

Role requires U.S. citizenship or eligible status under ITAR, hands-on experience with harnesses, cables, and soldering, and the ability to lift and work overhead. Contract offers bonus potential and Tier 1 supplier access.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR.
• Experience installing electrical harnesses and components on aircraft.
• Experience routing wires and cables for aircraft electrical systems.
• Experience terminating cables and wires for electrical assemblies.
• Experience performing operational checks on aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work overhead and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Routes various wires and cables for aircraft electrical systems.
• Terminates cables and wires for electrical assemblies.
• Performs operational checks on aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
• Troubleshoots electrical and avionics systems to isolate and repair faults.
• Repairs electrical and avionics systems based on assigned area.
• Performs general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections as required.
• Performs continuity testing and soldering or termination operations.
• Works with electrical harnesses and modification tasks on military aircraft.
