Job summary

Mountain Air Cargo in North Carolina seeks a skilled Avionics Technician to maintain and repair aircraft electrical and avionics systems in a hangar environment. You will troubleshoot, repair and modify complex systems, using schematics, test equipment and approved engineering orders, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an A&P license, 2+ years avionics troubleshooting experience, and a strong knowledge of FAA regulations. Travel to line stations may be limited.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Two years avionics troubleshooting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of avionics systems and interactions.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance manuals.
• Good command of English and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, operational test, repair, and modification of avionics/electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex avionics/electrical issues using schematics and test equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to other employees as needed.
• Maintain documentation per MAC policies and FAA regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance planning on modifications and STCs.
