The Wilson School District No 7 is seeking a highly qualified and certified AVID Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year in Phoenix, Arizona. The district offers a competitive salary with opportunities for stipends for higher education and certifications.

Starting salary ranges from $57,500 to $58,500 per year, with additional payments for BA+15hrs, BA+30, BA+45/MA, National Board, BLE, ESL, and Prov ESL. Performance pay up to $3,000 is also available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Arizona teaching certificate issued by the State of Arizona is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement district教育 philosophy and instructional goals.
• Guide learning to achieve curriculum goals and communicate objectives to students.
• Assess student performance and refer for specialized help when needed.
• Plan study programs based on identified student needs.
• Employ appropriate instructional methods and materials.
• Maintain accurate academic and attendance records.
• Promote and retain students as appropriate.
• Enforce school rules and policies.
• Attend faculty and department meetings and participate in committees.
• Communicate with colleagues, students, and parents regularly.
