The Inland Group of Companies is hiring a Wastewater Equipment Operator for a part-time, on-site role at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT. You will safely operate wastewater equipment, follow environmental standards, and support site performance around the clock.

Responsibilities include inspections, minor repairs, and coordinating with teams to ensure efficient, compliant operations. Must meet physical and training requirements, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to operate vehicles.
• Pass airport security background screening (SIDA) requirements.
• Complete required training programs (classroom and on-the-job).
• Proficient reading, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals and follow procedures.
• General mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater processing equipment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; maintain a safe work culture.
• Inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and facility support.
• Adhere to plans and regulatory requirements for tasks.
• Complete confined space entry tasks per safety training.
• Maintain awareness of operating conditions and adjust as needed.
• Support continuous, safe wastewater treatment operations.
