The Inland Group of Companies is hiring a Wastewater Equipment Operator for Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT. This full-time role operates wastewater processing equipment around the clock, ensuring environmental compliance and efficient site performance.

You will follow safety procedures, perform inspections and minor repairs, and support operations across 8-hour shifts in a dynamic outdoor environment, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to operate vehicles in various weather conditions.
• Ability to pass airport security background screening including SIDA testing.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture by following all safety policies and standards.
• Support environmental commitments and regulatory permit requirements.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater processing equipment.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Follow procedures to complete work according to specifications.
• Complete confined space entry tasks as required.
• Maintain awareness of operating conditions and respond to site needs.
• Contribute to safe, efficient operation of wastewater treatment activities.
