Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily airport warehouse operations, lead a team of cargo handlers and stock clerks, and ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will coordinate shipments, monitor inventory, and enforce safety regulations to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires prior warehouse supervisory experience, knowledge of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Previous experience in warehouse supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to access and interpret information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations: oversee receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff: provide direction and supervision to warehouse personnel.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations: maintain a safe working environment and comply with safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels: track stock to manage inventory and prevent shortages or excess.
• Coordinate loading/unloading of goods: oversee movement of items in and out of the warehouse.
• Implement and maintain organization systems: organize storage for space optimization and accessibility.
• Conduct quality control checks: ensure goods meet required standards.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents: bills of lading, invoices, packing lists.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners: coord with teams and logistics providers.
• Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks: address challenges to maintain operations.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures: orient and train staff on safety and processes.
• Monitor and report on staff performance: evaluate productivity and provide feedback.
• Assist in inventory audits and stocktaking: lead counts for accuracy.
• Manage maintenance of warehouse equipment: ensure tools and machinery are in good condition.
• Implement process improvements: seek ways to improve efficiency.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
