Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead at Richmond International Airport to supervise daily warehouse operations, manage cargo handlers, stock clerks, and administrative staff, and ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

You will coordinate shipments, monitor inventory accuracy, enforce safety, train new staff, and prepare reports, contributing to continuous process improvements in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
• Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and regulations
• Ability to access and interpret information using tablets, computers, and mobile devices
• Effective communication with colleagues and clients in person and remotely
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Eligible for required credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs) as applicable
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and supervise staff
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with logistics
• Implement inventory control measures and ensure accuracy
• Enforce safety and security protocols
• Train new warehouse employees and provide guidance
• Resolve operational issues and bottlenecks promptly
• Prepare reports on warehouse activity and performance
• Participate in inventory audits and liaise with other departments
• Manage maintenance of warehouse equipment
• Contribute to process improvements and administrative tasks
• Support budget/resource planning and ensure compliance
