Job summary

Openwork is hiring several Warehouse Associates for a new Houston operation near IAH Airport. Direct hire from day one, you will join a national company with ~60 years in business and 29+ locations. The role offers full-time hours and a structured, process-driven environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, sorting materials, building flight kits, and maintaining records. Shifts are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM or 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, with weekends required.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and responsible work habits.
• Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and basic record-keeping skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process returned materials.
• Sort and categorize materials per SOPs.
• Build and prepare airline flight kits.
• Receive and ship airline laundry items (no washing).
• Maintain accurate records and basic work logs.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and stay active for 8 hours or more.
