Job summary

Kenmore Air is seeking an Upholstery Specialist to grow with our team in Kenmore, WA. You will learn to fabricate, repair, and install aircraft interior components under mentorship, working hands-on with seats, headliners, side panels, and carpeting.

No prior aircraft experience is required, but a passion for quality and a strong work ethic will help you succeed in a safety-conscious environment. This on-site role offers growth into a skilled trade.

Qualifications

The candidate must be able to sew seat covers and zipper applications.
Desire to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in aircraft interiors.
Experience using basic upholstery tools such as socket-set, screwdrivers, drill guns, Cleco pliers, and headliner tools.
Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

Learn fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft interior components.
Assist with cutting, sewing, and fitting materials including leather, fabric, and vinyl.
Read patterns and interpret basic engineering drawings.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle tools safely.
Support the maintenance and restoration team as needed.
