Job summary

Flexjet in Cleveland is seeking a Soft Goods Technician to perform aircraft upholstery, including pattern making, sewing and foam fabrication for various components. You will interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years aircraft upholstery experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and aircraft specs.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Must not be allergic to chemicals, solvents, paints or adhesives.

Responsibilities

• Perform upholstery operations including pattern making, sewing, and foam fabrication.
• Interpret blueprints, completion drawings and work instructions.
• Disassemble and reassemble vendor passenger seats and divans per manuals.
• Maintain proper use of adhesives, rivets, hardware and tooling.
• Follow FAA regulations and Flexjet standards; use MSDS data when handling chemicals.
