Job summary

Flexjet, a leader in private aviation, seeks an Interior Install Technician in Cleveland, OH. You will safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors such as seats and galleys, using blueprints and production procedures to guide measurements and installation.

The role requires reading technical drawings, coordinating with supervision for FAA paperwork, and ensuring high quality workmanship with proper tools. Night shifts may be required based on schedule and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace industry highly desired.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to distinguish alignment on intricate parts.
• Must possess required tools and toolbox.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to climb in and out of aircraft and work in tight or confined places.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interiors including seats, carpets, galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA paperwork, signoffs, and quality specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to determine measurements and installation procedures.
• Measure and mark installation areas and fit items using hand and power tools and fasteners.
• Test functional performance of installed items and assist with cross-training to develop skills.
