Job summary

Flexjet is seeking Soft Goods Technicians to upholster aircraft interiors, including pattern making, sewing, foam fabrication, and installation per blueprints and FAA guidelines. The role requires accuracy, tool proficiency, and the ability to work in confined spaces.

Candidates must have at least five years of upholstery experience and a high school diploma or GED, plus the ability to read technical drawings and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years aircraft upholstery experience.
• Ability to set up and operate all standard upholstery equipment.
• Ability to read documentation: blueprints, drawings, models, specs.
• Must not be allergic to chemicals, paints, adhesives, fabrics, or feathers.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft upholstery including pattern making, sewing, foam fabrication and installation.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and company standards.
• Perform shop math for tooling and parts calculations.
• Disassemble/reassemble vendor seats and divans per manuals.
• Maintain safe handling of tools, chemicals, and adhesives.
