Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an Aviation Lead to work on-site at Ft Rucker, Alabama. The role provides program leadership, strategic oversight, and execution management for aviation training system activities supporting initial entry, advanced, and sustainment flight training objectives.

The Aviation Lead coordinates cross-functional teams, manages risk, and engages with Government stakeholders to ensure safety, readiness, and training continuity.

Qualifications

  • Instructor Pilot or Maintenance Test Pilot required.
  • Army Aviator experience with UH-60M required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Engineering, Program Management, Systems Engineering, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting aviation, flight training, or DoD program management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall program leadership, strategic oversight, and execution management for aviation training system activities.
  • Direct program execution, lead program reviews, technical interchange meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Manage acquisition and contract execution activities in coordination with Government stakeholders.
  • Oversee risk management, concurrency planning, and issue resolution to ensure training continuity, safety, and readiness.
  • Ensure cross-functional integration among aviation engineering, training, logistics, test, safety, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams.
  • Coordinate SME involvement and reviews/approvals of key program deliverables (QASPs, maintenance plans, test and evaluation plans, device accreditation/qualification docs, training system performance metrics).
  • Provide executive-level briefings and decision support to Government leadership.
