Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a Training and Documentation Manager to lead a team of instructional designers, instructors, and technical writers responsible for our Flight Planning suite. You will drive day-to-day authoring, instructor scheduling, and asset creation while integrating AI workflows to boost Time-to-Value and user engagement.

In this hybrid role, you may work from Austin, TX or Englewood, CO, collaborating with product, engineering, UXD, and customer-facing teams to deliver clear

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading instructional designers, instructors, or technical writers.
• Proven track record delivering concurrent training and documentation for customers, employees, and partners.
• Experience applying AI-assisted workflows to accelerate content production and measure training impact.
• Experience establishing and tracking training ROI and operational metrics (Time-to-Value, adoption, CSAT).
• Operational scheduling and workload management in fast-paced release cycles.
• Familiarity with LMS, virtual classrooms, and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, and manage a team of instructional designers, instructors, and technical writers.
• Champion AI-driven workflows to improve content quality and team efficiency.
• Leverage AI analytics to optimize learning pathways and measure training outcomes.
• Manage delivery pipeline for manuals, release notes, and guides in sync with agile releases.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering and Support to align training and documentation with go-lives.
