Job summary

Eastern Airlines is seeking a Technical Operations Training Compliance Specialist to ensure all aircraft maintenance training complies with FAA 14 CFR Part 121 and the company’s General Maintenance Manual. The role coordinates training events, maintains documentation, and tracks initial and recurrent training requirements.

The position is full-time and exempt, reporting to the Manager of Maintenance Training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical, aviation-related, or business field preferred.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training records and individual training files.
• Coordinate maintenance training events with internal personnel and external vendors.
• Monitor vendor training and authorization processes.
• Serve as System Administrator for AMOS, SilverWings, SkyPrep and CPaT.
• Generate monthly certification reports identifying qualified employees and recurrent due dates.
