Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage global export/import activities, ensuring adherence to ITAR/EAR regulations and licensing requirements. The role collaborates with internal partners to classify items, process declarations, and support compliance initiatives.

The position requires knowledge of US export controls, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related field, or 2-5 years of work experience in trade compliance.
• Proven knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Classify items for import and export by assigning HTSUS and Schedule B numbers.
• Support review and updates of ECCN/USML/Schedule B/HTS declarations.
• Coordinate with internal partners on licensing, training, and compliance policies.
• Assist with audits and risk assessments related to global trade compliance.
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure regulatory adherence.
