Job summary

Silver Wings Aerospace in Homestead/Princeton, FL, is seeking a Test Technician I to perform functional tests on CSD and IDG units per the CMM. You will learn test stands and related equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure alignment with FAA regulations and quality policies.

The role requires teamwork, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics. You will log activities, manage tools, and support on-time delivery in a fast-paced aviation shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
• Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours/week as required.
• Familiar with MRO production processes.

Responsibilities

• Test CSD and IDG per CMM.
• Familiarize with test stands and equipment.
• Perform routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance on test equipment.
• Maintain test stand logs and documentation.
• Ensure work complies with FAA and company procedures.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Provide timely units to meet OTD deadlines.
• Maintain calibration of tools and safety compliance.
