Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking a Tech Writer I to contribute to technical publications and maintenance content creation. Under supervision, you will develop and revise manuals, procedures, and related documentation to support aircraft return to service.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and customer support teams, applying standard processes to ensure accurate, timely, and user-friendly content for aviation professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• An A&P license and 4 years of related aircraft experience may offset the degree.
• Knowledge of basic aircraft system methodology preferred.
• Basic understanding of general computer technology and appropriate typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical content from aircraft technical data to support return-to-service.
• Review, analyze, and modify technical documents for complex aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with publications team to follow workflows and processes.
• Engage with internal/external customers to develop source data for technical publications.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, and Customer Support to develop, review, and approve procedures.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce costs or increase productivity.
