Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions.
  • An A&P license and 4 years of related aircraft experience may offset the degree.
  • Knowledge of basic aircraft system methodology preferred.
  • Basic understanding of general computer technology and appropriate typing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical publications using aircraft technical data to support return-to-service.
  • Review, analyze, and modify technical documents to understand complex aircraft systems.
  • Collaborate with publications team to follow department workflows and processes.
  • Discuss with internal/external customers to gather source data for publications.
  • Coordinate with Research/Development, Production, and Customer Support to develop and approve procedures.
  • Suggest process improvements to reduce costs or increase productivity.
