Job summary

The National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) Division of Leidos is seeking a Technical Writer to support FAA activities in Oklahoma City at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. You will provide technical writing expertise to publish documents and help ensure 508 compliance.

You will create, revise, and update technical documents, develop procedures in plain language, and participate in meetings to capture writing input and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or master's with less than 2 years.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Teams; ability to map processes, prepare documentation, and perform analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support creation, revision, and updating of technical documents.
• Provide input for documentation needs and ensure plain language.
• Assist in 508 compliance for posted documents.
• Coordinate document reviews and final versions for division approval.
• Deliver electronic copies (Word/PDF) by assigned dates.
