Job summary

The Leidos National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) Division in Oklahoma City is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support the FAA program. Qualifications

• BS degree in industrial engineering or a related technical field with 12+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Advanced knowledge with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) practices across hardware, software, and systems.
• Advanced knowledge of configuration management principles and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Establish configuration management strategies and execution for AJW-142.
• Maintain and execute CM processes and procedures consistent with program requirements.
• Establish configuration identification and control of system components, documentation, requirements, and other items.
• Establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure changes to baselines are documented and traceable.
• Coordinate and track change requests through review, approval, implementation, and closure processes.
• Lead and govern CM across hardware and software lifecycles; mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain configuration status accounting and provide visibility into items, changes, baselines, and releases.
• Support requirements management and traceability by coordinating approved changes and maintaining documentation.
• Support release and deployment planning and readiness activities; participate in reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure changes are communicated and implemented consistently.
