Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is offering a paid aviation internship to support flight program administration, outreach, marketing development, dual credit outreach, and the creation of an FAA Part 141 approved Training Course Outline for ground coursework and related approvals. The intern will shadow the program chair, assist with industry outreach, and help prepare accreditation documents.

Start date is 08/24/2026 and end date 05/07/2027, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in AAS Pro Flight or AAS Aviation Management.
• Completed AVIT 132, AVIT 229, AVIT 135.
• Self-starter acquainted with FAA regulations and advisory circulars.
• Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.

Responsibilities

• Assist in program administration and outreach functions.
• Shadow program chair to understand day-to-day operations and growth opportunities with industry partners.
• Help develop marketing initiatives.
• Help write FAA Part 141 TCO authorization and Air Agency Certificate approval.
• Build documentation for Restricted Airline Transport Pilot school approval request.
• Work with program chair to develop Aviation Accreditation Board International accrediting documents.
