Job summary

Gulfstream's GAC Savannah site seeks a Technical Operations Systems Specialist II (Second Shift) to serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers and to provide guidance on installation, service, repair, replacement, modification, and maintenance of Gulfstream aircraft systems and support equipment.

Under minimal direction, develops troubleshooting procedures, coordinates with Service Center, Field Service Representatives, and Engineering to Return To Service, and helps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance, engineering technology, or related curriculum required.
• 5 years aircraft related maintenance and operations experience required.
• A&P license, EASA B1/B2 FlightSafety Master Technician and four additional years related aircraft experience may offset the degree.

Responsibilities

• Responds to in-flight emergency calls and coordinates resources to provide technical data and guidance.
• Independently provides technical consultation to customers, Service Center, and internal departments to resolve operational conditions.
• Conducts in-depth system reviews and develops troubleshooting plans for operator/aircraft needs; directs implementation to Return To Service (RTS).
• Directs exchange of technical data for repair drawings for damaged in-service aircraft.
• Reviews correspondence from Gulfstream operators and agencies, coordinating analysis-focused actions.
• Develops and updates troubleshooting procedures and test equipment for Gulfstream aircraft.
• Prioritizes actions submitted to Technical Operations based on safety, urgency, and policy.
• Initiates customer bulletins, service communications, and other formal documentation.
