Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a DAS Supervisor of Teardown & Evaluation to lead teardown and evaluation activities on aircraft components at our Cedar Hill, TX site. The role requires guiding technicians, reviewing repair orders, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

On-site work with potential overtime supports our MRO operations. The ideal candidate brings 5 years in component maintenance, preferably with FAA credentials, and a strong ability to coordinate multi-department activities

Qualifications

• 5 years of component maintenance experience, including structural assemblies and nacelle components.
• FAA Mechanic/Repairman certificate is preferred.
• Ability to guide technicians and review repair orders for conformance and delivery dates.

Responsibilities

• Review component repair orders with the Director of Engineering and ensure work scope meets requirements and delivery dates.
• Set priorities and sequencing for component repair operations.
• Coordinate shop activities to ensure process quality and timely completion.
• Lead and train staff on proper procedures and safety practices.
• Maintain department safety, cleanliness, and tool calibration.
