Job summary

Quecon, Inc. is seeking System Test Engineers to support the FAA mission, performing front-end, back-end, performance, risk-reduction and regression testing across FAA ATC systems. The role involves collaboration with software and systems engineers and interfaces with FAA customers.

The candidate will evaluate, debug and verify conformance, with a requirement for U.S. citizenship or 3-year permanent residency and eligibility for a Position of Public Trust. Reporting location is Pomona, NJ.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux/Unix operating environments.
• Ability to perform execution of engineering tasks for system integration, readiness, deployment and sustainment.
• Experience in testing and system validation.
• Ability to interpret requirements and configurations.
• Proficient in command line tools and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to evaluate, debug and check equipment and systems for conformance.
• Perform front-end, back-end, performance, risk-reduction and regression testing of FAA ATC components.
• Collaborate with System Test Specialists, Software Engineers and System Engineers; interface with FAA customers.
• Communicate test findings and assist in debugging and verification activities.
