Job summary

Veracity Engineering is seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to join the FAA lab team in Atlantic City, NJ. You will perform system-level integration testing, support software loading, and troubleshoot distributed components in a lab setting.

The role requires hands-on testing, reading production code, and developing automation utilities. A DoD-relevant security posture and on-site work are essential, with strong communication and collaboration across engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with software integration, system testing, or software engineering in a controlled environment.
• Ability to read and analyze production code in C/C++, Java, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting language.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level integration test procedures from requirements.
• Read and analyze production software to support troubleshooting and gray-box validation.
• Develop and execute automated regression tests using Python.
• Install, configure, and integrate subsystem software builds in lab environments.
• Support lab operations and troubleshoot distributed software systems.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate lab resources for testing.
• Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers in a controlled environment.
• Provide technical support during integration and testing activities.
