Job summary

Solidus Technical Solutions in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Systems Test Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force certification of aircraft systems.

You will work with flight test engineers, developers, and program leads to verify requirements through traceability and rigorous testing. The role emphasizes establishing acceptance criteria, defining verification processes, and capturing pass/fail conditions for hardware and software interfaces in a military environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; must obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant job experience.
• Knowledge and/or experience in; the process of defining, documenting, verifying, and maintaining requirements supporting the test design and planning process.
• Ability to analyze, and provide traceability and decomposition of system requirements.
• Ability to determine undefined or missing requirements and manage completion of requirements according to a project schedule.
• Establish acceptance test criteria; verifies appropriateness; ensures completeness of artifacts and content.
• Ability to work within a professional, military-oriented environment required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Cultural fit within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with Developmental and/or Operational Test and Evaluation.
• Knowledge of system design and/or experimental test operations a plus.
• DAU Test Evaluation Certification, Level I or II, or test industry equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between System Program Office and aircraft program test directors.
• Develop a requirements verification process to define acceptance criteria and artifact completeness.
• Assist with providing hardware/software interface and performance parameters to capture pass/fail test conditions.
