Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) invites applications for an Instructor, Aviation Systems Technology. This regular, full-time role requires developing and teaching aviation courses, advising students, and partnering with industry to deliver relevant training at GTCC’s campuses in Jamestown, NC.

Qualified candidates hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, an associate degree in aviation, and ideally a bachelor’s degree or avionics background.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Aviation field is required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Aviation or related field.
• Avionics background or FCC/AET training is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, prepare and teach Aviation Systems Technology courses.
• Advise and recruit students; collaborate with industry partners.
• Assess and align courses with TSA and airport safety requirements.
• Monitor student learning outcomes and adapt instruction accordingly.
