Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for the TFDM program supporting the FAA. The role is based in Gaithersburg, MD with a hybrid schedule (three days in the office, two remote) and travel up to 50% to FAA sites.

You will integrate, validate, and deploy mission-critical TFDM capabilities, working closely with software, systems engineering, networking, and FAA stakeholders to improve NAS safety, efficiency, and reliability across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or 4+ years with a related Master's degree.
• Experience integrating and testing large-scale distributed software systems.
• Strong Linux/UNIX administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or Shell scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and validate TFDM capabilities in labs and fielded environments.
• Execute system integration, verification, and validation within the NAS.
• Support formal customer demonstrations, verification events, and acceptance testing with FAA.
• Collaborate across software, systems engineering, networking, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation tools and AI-assisted solutions to improve testing efficiency.
