Job summary

A3 Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support the FAA Alaska Automation Capability program. You will plan, manage, deconflict, streamline, and execute procurement to modernize Alaska Flight Service.

Role emphasizes end-to-end systems life cycle, design verification, and transition to IP-based environments in coordination with TIS. The position requires experience with federal aviation programs, cybersecurity compliance, and potential travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems or infrastructure engineering, telecommunications, computer science or information technology with 8 years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship or eligibility to work in the US is required.
• Ability to obtain FAA/public trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize cutover schedules with stakeholders to minimize outages.
• Verify legacy and VoIP radio integration with new VCS.
• Translate strategies into system requirements with multi-discipline teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards through formal verification.
• Support design, development and evaluation of end-to-end systems.
• Design interfaces and integrate system elements for cohesive performance.
• Participate in design reviews for hardware and software components.
• Generate system verification and customer acceptance tests.
