Job summary

ADB SAFEGATE, a global leader in intelligent airport solutions, seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Airfield Lighting Control & Monitoring Systems team in Columbus, OH. You will design, implement, and support advanced ALCMS for FAA and government airports, focusing on cybersecurity, integration with existing infrastructure, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering with ALCMS or similar control systems in aviation, including cybersecurity hardening.
• Experience collaborating with project managers and engineers in team settings.
• Experience with quality assurance tests and compliance checks against industry standards.
• Familiarity with low/high voltage electronics and interpreting wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and provide technical support for advanced ALCMS solutions for FAA, US Military, and civilian airports.
• Support project lifecycle from planning through deployment, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Stay updated on ALCMS and control systems trends; suggest improvements for functionality, efficiency, and safety.
• Assist in ensuring solutions meet FAA/ICAO regulations and cybersecurity standards.
• Develop and deliver training for clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with international teams and travel up to 30% when needed.
