FSB Architects + Engineers in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Architectural Manager to lead the Aviation Studio, guiding a team of architects and coordinating with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality aviation design delivery.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, managing workload and performance, advancing project standards, and delivering complex aviation projects while maintaining professional standards of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect with active license.
• 10+ years of architectural experience.
• Aviation or airport project experience preferred.
• Experience leading, scheduling, supervising, and developing architectural staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop architectural staff within the Aviation Studio.
• Plan staff workload and assignments with the Aviation Studio Director and PMs.
• Coach and mentor staff in technical skills, communication, problem solving, prioritization, collaboration, and project execution.
• Conduct performance reviews, support professional development, and participate in recruiting and hiring.
• Oversee architectural production and ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and codes.
• Provide technical review to ensure deliverables are constructable and compliant with standards.
