Placements24 is seeking a skilled Structures Technician to join an aviation maintenance team. You will perform repairs, modifications and maintenance of aircraft structural components, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with approved data.

The role requires reading repair manuals, blueprints, riveting, welding and sheet metal work, with a strong safety focus and ability to work in a fast-paced hangar.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an aircraft structures technician or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret structural repair manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Skilled in working with aluminum alloys, composites and metals.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft airframes according to approved data and specifications.
• Conduct inspections to identify damage, corrosion or fatigue in structures.
• Fabricate and fit structural components with precise alignment and tolerances.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment used in structural repair work.
• Document all work performed, materials used and time spent per procedures.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment in line with safety regulations.
