Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, TN is seeking a Structures Mechanic to join the Aircraft Services Team.

You will perform disassembly, inspections, and repairs on Bell aircraft structures, including sheet metal and composites, following data and customer specs. This role requires at least 2 years as an aircraft mechanic with structures experience, high school diploma, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic with structures experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bell model maintenance experience or Bell courses preferred.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints.
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
• FAA Airframe or A&P certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft, inspections, and Alert Service Bulletins.
• Major and minor repairs and alterations to the aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs.
• Fabricate mounting brackets, and measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures.
• Document all work accurately and in a timely manner.
• Overtime as required.
