Job summary

Saab is seeking a Software Co‑Op in our East Syracuse, NY office for January to August 2027. You will work with the System Engineering Team and other Software Engineers to improve tools used within the FAA, focusing on the software development life cycle.

The role requires enrollment in CS/CE/SE with a 3.0+ GPA, US citizenship, and sophomore status or higher. The position offers an hourly compensation with a housing‑support sign‑on bonus for co‑ops outside commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited degree program, with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• United States Citizenship.
• Must have completed Sophomore year or greater.

Responsibilities

• Work with our System Engineering Team and other Software Engineers to improve tools used within the FAA.
• Contribute to the full software development life cycle in a dynamic team environment.
