Job summary

Garver's Frisco, Texas office is seeking a motivated Aviation Site Civil Engineering Intern to train and develop under an experienced team. The intern will work with aviation professionals on private development projects at and near airports, gaining exposure to design, construction oversight, and site visits.

The Garver Launch Program offers a hands-on internship with daily interactions with peers and mentors, plus wellness and community involvement activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong interest in pursuing civil engineering in the aviation private development industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced aviation design professionals and industry leaders.
• Receive training from senior engineers in various elements of private development on and adjacent to airport environments providing design and construction oversight for general aviation and commercial service airports.
• Visit Garver’s Aviation project sites, such as airport hangars and other airport support facilities.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry by assisting with planned development, project administration, and submitting proposals.
