Job summary

SkyBridge Aviation in Central Florida is seeking an experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to support production in a fast-paced aviation environment. The ideal candidate can work independently and with a team while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include installing and modifying components from drawings, drilling with close tolerances, fabricating and fitting parts, and installing rivets. Tools include aviation hand tools and sheet metal equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft sheet metal experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with close tolerance drilling and structural work.
• Familiarity with aviation tools and sheet metal fabrication methods.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify aircraft components using engineering drawings and technical data.
• Perform close tolerance drilling and structural assembly.
• Fabricate and fit aircraft sheet metal parts in accordance with engineering requirements.
• Remove and install fasteners and rivets.
• Use aviation hand tools and sheet metal equipment properly and safely.
• Complete work with minimal supervision while meeting production schedules.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
