Job summary

Analogic's Aviation Security team is hiring System Installation Technicians to install and commission conveyor and screening systems at airports in the U.S. and abroad.

You will travel weekly to customer sites and integrate Checkpoint Screening System components with our own Analogic systems. The role requires a strong electronics background, excellent communication, and flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with valid passport by hire date.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years relevant experience.
• AS degree or technical school in electronics is a plus.
• 5+ years in field or installation service environments.
• Flexible and open to a fluid schedule and working environment.
• Ability to pass background, drug test, pre-employment physical, and credit checks.
• Ability to travel up to 100% domestically and internationally.
• Must obtain Airport ID Badge and security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Installs and commissions conveyor systems and electrical connections on industrial handling equipment.
• Installs, repairs, and modifies equipment in the field; provides customer training.
• Performs maintenance and technical support on products at customer or factory locations.
• Meets weekly project installation goals within deadlines.
• Documents inspections, maintenance, and repairs; submits paperwork timely.
• Maintains tools and test equipment; calibrates as needed.
• Assesses performance and recommends improvements to equipment and processes.
• Provides technical support to customers and peers as required.
• Maintains clear business communication, orally and in writing.
• Travel, overtime, and non-Mon-Fri hours may be required.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs upgrades as needed.
