ACTS-Aviation Security, at MSP Airport, seeks an Aviation Security Supervisor for the 1st shift (8:00am - 4:00pm). This leadership role oversees service lines, ensures TSA and airline compliance, and represents ACTS at the airport.

The position emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and team leadership. Competitive pay is $24.00 per hour plus medical, dental, vision, retirement and paid time off benefits.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have at least two (2) years verifiable previous contract security, military or law enforcement experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States.
• Must pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration;
• Must pass a Criminal History Record Check as required by the Transportation Security Administration
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Aviation Security Officers

Responsabilidades

• Control access of restricted areas of airport, only allowing access to authorized individuals
• Screen and log persons and/or vehicles accessing restricted areas
• Control access and conduct vehicle inspections at perimeter access points to the Airport's secured areas
• Conduct vehicle inspections at entries into non-secure areas deemed vulnerable
• Conduct screening of employees, vendors, visitors and belongings utilizing x-ray machines, hand wands, and/or magnetometers
• Access control at employee checkpoints
• Monitor and secure exit lanes from sterile area to public area of airport
• Provide escorts and security for construction of runways, taxiways and terminals/concourses
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Assists in scheduling and assigning the Security Officers to ensure proper coverage and relief for the ACTS-Aviation Security
• Performs regularly scheduled documented audits of employee work performance according to ACTS-Aviation Security
• Reports all daily, weekly, monthly activities to the appropriate member of management
• Conducts and ensures that all training and documentation of newly hired employees are provided to the appropriate member of management
• Disciplines Security Officers as necessary
• Maintains all provisions, regulations, procedures and processes in current collective bargaining agreement
• Performs all other duties as assigned by ACTS-Aviation Security
