Job summary

ACTS Aviation Security, Inc. is hiring an Aviation Security Guard at Denver International Airport in Denver, Colorado. The role focuses on safeguarding travelers and staff in accordance with TSA and airport rules, with full-time hours and benefits.

Responsibilities include access control, screening, vehicle inspections, patrolling the terminal, and reporting incidents. Candidates should be at least 21, US citizens or permanent residents, and prepared to meet licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of verifiable contract security, military or law enforcement experience.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Able to stand or walk an entire shift and lift a 25lb extinguisher
• Must meet TSA and airport licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Control access to restricted areas for authorized individuals
• Screen and log persons and vehicles at restricted areas
• Inspect vehicles at access points to secured areas
• Monitor exit lanes from sterile to public areas
• Patrol terminals and respond to security incidents
• Monitor curbside traffic and manage safety concerns
• Prepare incident reports for safety, security or operational issues
