Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC’s AvSec team is seeking an AvSec Manager to lead and oversee security for Amazon Air’s cargo operations in the North America region. Responsibilities include defining risk-based security standards, interpreting airport and federal regulations, and driving corrective actions to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in corporate security management, transportation/supply chain operations or aviation security.
• 3+ years in security or investigations field or related degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation security program to meet best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Define and drive security standards, workflows, and SLAs across the region.
• Identify gaps and drive corrective actions to reduce risk and non‑compliance.
• Manage staffing, training, and workforce development for security teams.
• Coordinate with TSA, CBP and other regulators; serve as liaison for inspections.
