ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. is hiring Security Agents for roles at the LGA Airport area in Astoria, NY. Starting pay is $22.10 per hour with free health, dental, and vision insurance for the employee.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Security Guard with the NY Department of State.
• FBI fingerprint check and a 10-year background check are required.
• No FAA Disqualifying Crimes; 18+ years old with a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to work in cold temperatures as required for the role.
• Written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects airline equipment and checks for unauthorized items.
• Screens cargo according to customer specifications.
• Performs aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding.
• Observes and monitors unit activity and facility surroundings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Reports to Operations Supervisor or Manager.
• Activities overseen by Lead or Senior Lead, depending on unit size.
