PrimeFlight Aviation Services Inc. is seeking a Security Gate Agent to manage airport entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain secure access for passengers and staff.

You will monitor security gates, operate detectors, and collaborate with security personnel to handle emergencies while upholding airport protocols. The role requires 18+ years, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to secure areas of the airport.
• Verify credentials and access permissions of personnel and visitors.
• Operate security equipment such as metal detectors and X-ray machines.
• Conduct physical inspections of bags and personal items as required.
• Manage the flow of passengers and staff through security checkpoints.
• Respond to security alerts and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain logs and records of security checkpoint activities.
• Provide assistance and information to passengers regarding security procedures.
• Enforce airport security policies and regulations consistently.
• Participate in security drills and emergency response exercises.
• Report any suspicious activities or security breaches immediately.
