Job summary

Atlantic Aviation is seeking a Safety and Training Manager for our Reno, NV site. The role trains and evaluates new hires on company policies and industry practices, conducts annual recurrent training, maintains training files, and oversees the site's safety and training programs to ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of Line Service experience.
• Completion of an OSHA Industrial Safety 10 or 30 Hr course.
• Valid state driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
• Atlantic Line Service Supervisor Training the Trainer Certification.
• Aptitude in supervising and developing staff.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good customer relations skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site practices and procedures contributing to a safe, profitable work environment through safety meetings and training.
• Foster safety-focused culture and reduce incidents while providing quality customer service.
• Administer and monitor Atlantic Training and Safety Plans; teach compliance to Line Service Technicians under Training.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and develop new hire employees; conduct annual recurrent training.
• Analyze and update training materials to meet facility needs.
• Distribute and document distribution of all training and safety materials.
• Write and distribute local safety and training notices.
• Conduct safety/environmental site audits for compliance.
• Maintain training records and quality inspections.
• Communicate safety/training issues to General Manager.
