Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Three to five years of airline, aviation safety, or operational experience.
• Experience supporting or leading safety programs, investigations, audits or risk management.
• Ability to work with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel and respond as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and improvement of safety programs (ASAP, IEP, FRMP, FOQA).
• Supervise Safety Department staff and manage workload with VP guidance.
• Maintain safety reporting systems and performance dashboards for leadership.
• Escalate significant safety risks to senior leadership.
• Track corrective actions and assess mitigation effectiveness.
• Support internal safety investigations and document findings.
• Develop and evaluate safety training materials for effectiveness.
• Chair monthly Safety Committee meetings and track action items.
• Provide practical safety recommendations to leaders based on data.
• Ensure integration of safety programs into day-to-day operations.
