Job summary

United Aero Group in Orlando, FL seeks a refinishing associate to remove paint, prep rotor blades for paint, and ensure documentation meets ACS quality standards. You will learn OEM repair manuals and Aviation Standard Practices per AC 43-13, applying these during highly repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include moving work orders forward in a timely, cost‑effective manner under the Refinishing Department Lead, and contributing to quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of related experience with surface preparation, masking, and sanding techniques.
• Experience in an automotive or aviation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove paint, fill and fair and prep rotor blades for paint.
• Ensure all product & documentation are accurate & complete per ACS quality specifications.
• Learn to be proficient on all OEM repair manuals with a complete understanding of Aviation Standard Practices per AC 43-13.
• Ensure work orders move forward in a timely, cost-effective manner with direction from Refinishing Department Lead.
• Evaluate & recommend improvements for procedures for quality control of products.
• Maintain safety guidelines/procedures & cleanliness of department at all times.
• Work with other team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
