Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks an Aircraft Technician/Mechanic for the Repair Station. You will perform composite lay-up, assembly and testing in accordance with AMM/SRM/CMM documents and customer specs.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, familiarity with tooling, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen. A&P license is preferred, and travel may be required to support Spirit business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Aircraft Technician/Mechanic experience.
• This is a DOT safety sensitive position and requires DOT drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Utilize lay-up tools in repair and rework of composite assemblies.
• Use precision measuring instruments and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions and procedures.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily duties.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
