The role requires 5+ years as a technician, the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, experience with composites, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working as a technician in a related field.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)
• Experience with composites and hand lay-up techniques for monolithic and sandwich panels
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in the composite hand lay-up area, robotic, automation, acoustic, avionic, vibrational and/or optical areas.
• Be able to lift, bend and stand for prolonged hours.
• Constructs, fabricates, assembles, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
