Job summary

Jet Aviation in Teterboro, NJ is seeking a Line and Ramp Communications Coordinator to coordinate communications between customers, flight crews, and ground operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to policies.

The role requires strong communication, document interpretation, and adaptability to a 24/7 operation. It is an on-site position with a baseline pay of $23–$27 per hour and a bonus potential up to 5% of annual salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports clearly.
• Comfortable speaking before groups.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret charts.
• Flexible to varied schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must obtain a Teterboro Airport ID Badge within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to radio calls from aircraft, disseminating information to the appropriate departments.
• Track aircraft arrivals and departures using Passur Software.
• Liaise with Customs and Border Patrol for international arrivals and departures.
• Maintain records of all aircraft arrival and departure information.
• Build relationships with pilots to support operational efficiency.
• Generate daily and monthly reports for management and team members.
• Represent Jet Aviation with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.
