Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a baggage handler to load and unload luggage, freight, and cargo from aircraft. The role involves operating small vehicles, heavy lifting, and adhering to safety procedures in outbound bag room and baggage claim areas. A flexible schedule is required.

Applicants must be 18+, have a valid US driver’s license, strong English skills, and be able to lift 70 lbs repeatedly. FBI background check and US Customs Seal may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be comfortable lifting 70 lbs repetitively.
• Possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.

Responsibilities

• On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, following training.
• Gather, input and process data and documentation for operation, including weather reporting.
• Undertake baggage sortation duties safely and efficiently.
• Carry out area hazard checks.
• Perform Head-set duties communicating with the flight deck.
